The following is a list of classes we offer. If any of them appeal to you, please let us know and we will place you on our list of requests.
CALL FOR CLASS DATES

All students must Register and Pay in Advance for all classes. If your payment
arrives after class is full we will try to reschedule, or return your check to you. Call at least 2 days in advance
of the class to confirm scheduled time. Fees will be fully refunded if any class is canceled. We need at least 4
students to hold a class and sessions are limited.
(The classes starred (*) are speciality classes not usually offered in this area, they require specific knowledge
and skills of the instructors and will command a higher fee). Your comments will help us determine the amount of
interest, length and content of class.
Our instructors have had a minimum of 7 years working in glass, have taken special classes/workshops throughout
the country, have hands-on experience or certificatiions that qualify them to instruct. When working in glass
please keep in mind that it is messy. Please wear casual clothes and no sandals, please. We have aprons if
needed and safety glasses are a must. We have or if you wish, bring your own. NOTE: In case of ICY OR STORMY WEATHER Please
Call before coming to class. If we do not speak to you (you get a recording) , please do not come to class.
QUICK-START STAINED GLASS WORKSHOP
- One-Day - Instructor: Donna Pampalonna You will learn all the basic techniques
of stained glass fabrication. A small lightcatcher (choose one of 3) will be completed in the class. Class fee of
$65 includes the use of our tools and all materials to complete your project. You will be amazed that in just a
few hours you will learn the basics of stained glass and take home a project to be proud of. No previous skills
are required for this class. Lunch Provided.

BEGINNING STAINED GLASS
- Tiffany Method - Instructors: Larry & Vicki Day You will learn all the
basic techniques of stained glass fabrication. A small panel (choose one of 4) will be completed in the class.
Class fee of $75 includes the use of our tools and we will supply copper foil, solder, flux, patina,
wax, rings, chain and framing metal needed to complete your panel. You will need to buy glass in your favorite
colors (probably an extra $15). No previous skills are required for this class.
Some supplies included in class fee, remainder available on site (approx $15).
BEGINNING FOIL AND LEAD COMBO GLASS
- 2 methods offered, Tiffany and Lead Came. - Instructors: Larry & Vicki Day
You will learn all the basic techniques of stained glass fabrication. Two small panels will be completed in the
class, one using copper foil, the other using lead came. Class fee of $125 includes the use of our tools
and we will supply copper foil, lead, solder, flux, patina, wax, glazing compound, whiting,rings, chain and zinc
framing needed to complete your panels. You will need to bring or buy glass in your favorite colors (probably
an extra $15). No previous skills are required for this class.
Some supplies included in class fee, remainder available on site (approx $15).
BEGINNING LEAD
You will learn the basic techniques of leaded glass fabrication. A small
panel (choose one of 3) will be completed in the class. Class fee of $75 includes the lead, solder,
flux, glazing putty, whiting, rings, chain and zinc framing needed to complete your panel. You will need to
bring or buy glass in your favorite colors. (probably an extra $15), and Bring your Own Cutter & Iron.
Must have completed copper foil class.
Some supplies included in class fee, remainder available on site (approx $15).
SUPER QUICK LEAD WORKSHOP
- for the beginner - Instructor: Larry Day Learn how to assemble a quick,
bevel & glass panel using the lead came method. Class fee of $55 includes all supplies. There will be limited glass
cutting to save time. This is mostly for those currently doing copper foil who want to learn the
basics of leading. All supplies included in class fee
Class limited to a maximum of 6 students.
INTERMEDIATE STAINED GLASS
- for those with basic skills wanting to make a larger panel. (something you can
complete in 4 weeks). You must take panel home to work on outside of class, so bring 1/2" plywood cut slightly
larger than your panel to safely transport. You will need to have pattern approved by instructors prior to
class - no larger than 24" x 36". Class fee of $85 does not include glass (you can bring your own or buy it
here).

INTRODUCTION TO GLASS FUSION
- Using a Fast-Firing Mini-Kiln, make beautiful pieces of Art Glass. You may
make either jewelry or small, cool pieces to incorporate into your leaded work. Class fee of $75 includes all
supplies and Lunch. No previous skills are required for this class.

Class limited to a maximum of 6 students.
MAKING FUSED GLASS TILES
- Using a Fast-Firing Mini-Kiln, make Two Glass Tiles (which can also be used
as coasters or pieces to include in a leaded panel. Class fee of $75 includes all supplies and Lunch.
No previous skills are required for this class.

Class limited to a maximum of 3 students.
* BUILDING STAINED GLASS WINDOWS FOR YOUR HOME
- Lecture and Demo Only Bring in your notes and ideas (patterns if you have
them), Window Measurments (approximate). We will offer discussion, guidance and encouragement to help you get
it done. You will learn how to make templates, types of installation and we will answer lots of questions. Cost
of Class is $25.
* REPAIR & RESTORATION
- One Day - Instructor: Larry Day Repair, Relead or Restore? Be prepared to
jump in and get your hands dirty! Much discussion as well as working on a piece with the group. This class is
repeated from last year due to many requests. Class fee: $95. Basic Skills Required for this class.

CUTTING WORKSHOP
Bring in Your Cutter, Runners and Groziers and together we’ll work on
improving your techniques. We’ll demo the Inland Circle Cutter, and some of the Morton Tools. Class Fee $10.
SOLDER REFRESHER
Instructors: Larry & Vicki Day
Brush up on your soldering skills. Bring your own iron, holder and solder and a project already foiled.
We will show you a few tips and techniques to "iron-out" your problems. Class fee of $20.
* INTRODUCTION TO DALLE DE VERRE
This is Hands-on, you will make a small dalle de verre panel. Bring a
long-sleeved workshirt, closed toed shoes and safety glasses are a MUST! Dalle De Verre is a technique that was
developed in Europe for use in early Christian churches. Large colored chunks of glass are set into an epoxy
resin. Dalles (or slabs of glass) are handcast in a variety of beautiful colors. Cost of Class is $150

* INTERMEDIATE FUSION
Learn to make pattern bars and slice for fusing into sheet glass to make
a tile using the new fusers’ blade from Gryphon Corp. Cost of Class is $95
* PLATING & DESIGN (Advanced Stained Glass)
- Instructor: Brenda Benson for those who want to give a more artistic color
palette and a new dimension to your work, sculptor and glass artist, Brenda Benson will share ideas and techniques
in this method used most famously by Tiffany and LaFarge. Basic Cutting, Soldering, and Copper foil skills a must.
A 2-hour discussion will kick off this exciting and informative class, after that, collect your thoughts and
supplies and get ready for HANDS ON! Fee is $125 plus supplies, OR if you prefer to come for Discussion only,
$75.
* INTRO TO MOLD-MAKING AND FRIT CASTING
- Learn to make molds using 2 or 3 methods, Sheet glass project slumped over mold
and frit cast in one mold (may have to pick up finished items at later date). Cost of Class is $125
BEGINNING KALEIDOSCOPES
- Instructor: Larry Day Class fee of $85 includes all supplies. Basic
copper foil skills required. Pizza Lunch provided.

LEADED ANGEL AND ORNAMENT CLASS
- Instructor: Donna Pampallona Make quick and easy ornaments and
lightcatchers with hobby came. They will make great tree ornaments or gifts for your friends. Class fee of
$30 includes all supplies.

FUSED ORNAMENT CLASS
- Instructor: Vernelle Blue Learn the basics of fusing while making quick
and easy ornaments and lightcatchers in the quick-firing mini-kilns. They will make great tree ornaments or
gifts for your friends and open new oportunities for you. Class fee of $75 includes all supplies.

CHEMICAL ETCHING
- A fun class to do with No Required Skills Needed! Etch decorative designs on
bevels. Learn to make your own stencils and how to use purchased ones and apply the etching techniques to unlimited
types of glassware and tiles. Class fee of $25 includes all supplies. No previous skills are required for
this class.

INTRODUCTION TO DECORATIVE SOLDERING
- About 2-3 hours in length. Learn decorative soldering techniques to adorn all
of your stained glass projects. you will only be limited by your own imagination! All students must bring their
own soldering irons, a 1/8" beading tip and a rheostat. (these will be available for purchase if you do not have
them, but please call a week in advance to order). Class fee of $50 includes special solder and flux.
Basic Soldering Skills required for this class.

JEWELRY BOXES
- Instructor: Donna Pampallona. Learn how to make decorative boxes for yourself
or for gift-giving. Class fee of $45 includes all supplies.

PANEL LAMPSHADES
- 4-week class - Instructor: John McClellan. Make a 6-sided Panel lamp or a
4-sided Prairie style lamp. Come in ahead of time to pick out your pattern. Work at home a must! Class fee of
$50 plus your glass. (Bases are available through special order or you might find one at yard sales or
department stores).

MOSAICS WITH MCINTIRE
- Instructor: Tina McIntire. Learn basic techniques from this popular
local artist, Tina McIntire, who has appeared on HGTV's Crafters Coast to Coast and That's Clever. You will be working on an 8 x 10 picture frame, a Variety of Glass and Baubles, and your own Creativity. Glasswork in first class, Grouting next class. * - Class fee $75 includes all supplies.
* INTRODUCTION TO SANDBLASTING
- Private one-on-one class only - Instructor: Larry Day. Learn how to
surface etch glass. Use pre-cut stencils plus learn to make your own resists. Safety and Equipment costs discussed.
Class fee of $250 includes all supplies. Lunch provided. Make appointment with Instructor.
